Comportamiento del clima y variaciones del río Amazonas en el siglo actual en Iquitos, 2024

Abstract

The descriptive, retrospective research was conducted in Iquitos, Loreto region, in 2024, using a quantitative, explanatory, correlational methodology in order to evaluate the behavior of the climate and variations in the level of the Amazon River during the first twenty years of the 21st century, from 2001 to 2020. After conducting statistical analyses and based on the results, it is concluded that there are differences between maximum, minimum, and average temperatures. The maximum temperature shows a decreasing trend (0.0012 °C/year), while the minimum temperature shows a sustained and significant increase (0.059 °C/year), and concerning the average temperature, a slight increasing trend is observed in these years under study (0.006 °C/year). The rainfall shows a slight decreasing trend (1.6 mm/year) over two decades. Regarding relative humidity, it shows a decrease or fluctuating trend. Concerning the level of the Amazon River during the study period, it indicates an annual decreasing trend, with a slope suggesting a reduction in level of 1.062 m.

La investigación a nivel descriptivo, retroactivo, se desarrolló en Iquitos, región Loreto, en el año 2024, utilizando metodología cuantitativa, explicativo, correlacional, a fin de evaluar el comportamiento del clima y variaciones del nivel del río Amazonas en los primeros veinte años del siglo XXI, entre los años 2001 al 2020. Realizado los análisis estadísticos y según los resultados, se concluye que existen diferencia entre temperatura máxima, mínima y media. La máxima muestra tendencia decreciente mínima (0.0012 °C/año), al contrario, la temperatura mínima muestra un incremento sostenido y significativo (0.059 °C/año) y, en cuanto a la temperatura media se observa una leve tendencia de incremento en estos años en estudio (0.006 °C/año). La precipitación pluvial, revela una ligera tendencia decreciente (1.6 mm/año) en dos décadas. En lo que se refiere a la humedad relativa, muestra un descenso o fluctuante. Sobre el nivel de río Amazonas en el período en estudio, refiere una tendencia decreciente anual, cuya pendiente indica una reducción del nivel de 1.062 m.
