Relación de la estructura diamétrica y abundancia en bosque de terraza baja, distrito de Mazán, Loreto, Perú. 2024

Abstract

A study was carried out to determine the relationship between diameter structure and abundance in a low terrace forest in the district of Mazán, Loreto, Peru. The dasometric data were obtained from the logging permit of the native community León Isla of the operational plan 01 (PC 01). A total of 1123 trees were recorded, belonging to five species, four botanical families and four genera. A quadratic allometric model was applied to adjust the diameter structure and abundance, with results of R=0,620, adjusted R2=0,429, SEE=0,359 and residual=0,515. For the species Maquira coriácea, the adjusted quadratic model showed an R=0,620, adjusted R2=0,430, SEE=0,250 and residual=0,250. The highest abundance was found in diameter structures smaller than 50 to 70 cm (3,69 trees/ha), while diameter structures larger than 80 to 100 cm showed the lowest abundance (1,04 trees/ha). The Pearson correlation between diameter structure and abundance was-0,539, indicating a moderate negative correlation, which means that as diameter structure increases, abundance tends to decrease, and vice versa. The research hypothesis, which postulated the existence of a relationship between diameter structure and abundance, was accepted

Se llevó a cabo un estudio para determinar la relación entre la estructura diamétrica y la abundancia en un bosque de terraza baja en el distrito de Mazán, Loreto, Perú. Los datos dasométricos se obtuvieron del permiso de aprovechamiento forestal de la comunidad nativa León Isla del plan operativo 01 (PC 01). Se registraron un total de 1123 árboles, pertenecientes a cinco especies, cuatro familias botánicas y cuatro géneros. Se aplicó un modelo alométrico cuadrático para ajustar la estructura diamétrica y la abundancia, con resultados de R=0,620, R2 ajustado=0,429, SEE=0,359 y residuo=0,515. Para la especie Maquira coriácea, el modelo cuadrático ajustado mostró un R=0,620, R2 ajustado=0,430, SEE=0,250 y residuo=0,250. La mayor abundancia se encontró en estructuras diamétricas menores de 50 a 70 cm (3,69 árboles/ha), mientras que las estructuras diamétricas mayores de 80 a 100 cm mostraron la menor abundancia (1,04 árboles/ha). La correlación de Pearson entre la estructura diamétrica y la abundancia fue de-0,539, indicando una correlación negativa moderada, lo que significa que a medida que la estructura diamétrica aumenta, la abundancia tiende a disminuir, y viceversa.
