| dc.description.abstract | Bioremediation is an alternative for the Amazonian ecosystem. The Faculty of Agronomy at UNAP presents the following research: BIOREMEDIATION WITH AQUATIC PLANTS AND EFFECTIVE MICROORGANISMS IN BOVINE WASTEWATER IN THE CATTLE PROJECT IN ZUNGAROCOCHA – 2026. Evaluations were conducted after 60 days. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and four replicates. This study evaluated the bioremediation of bovine wastewater using aquatic plants (Eichhornia crassipes “Putu Puto” - T1; Pistia stratiotes “Huama” - T2) and effective microorganisms (EM + water - T3), compared to a control (T0), in 80-liter buckets. No statistically significant differences were found in the chemical and physical indicators (pH, electrical conductivity, temperature, turbidity, and total dissolved solids), meeting water standards. Potable water: pH: T2 optimum (6.87, close to neutral). Temperature: T1 (26.98 °C) and T2 (26.73 °C) best due to vegetation cover. Electrical conductivity: All viable (403.25–1201.25 µS/cm; potable range 50–1500 µS/cm). Turbidity: T2 superior (4.77 NTU; WHO ≤5 NTU). Total dissolved solids: T1 outstanding (239 mg/L; ≤1000 mg/L). In microbiological indicators, T3 showed statistically significant differences and greater efficiency: total coliforms (742.5 MPN/100 mL), fecal coliforms (720.0 MPN/100 mL), and Escherichia coli (192.5 MPN/100 mL). Treatments T1/T2 are ideal for physicochemical parameters, while T3 excels in microbial control, promoting its sustainable application in Amazonian livestock farming. | en_US |
