Abstract
Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el dominio de áreas curriculares
en educación secundaria y la vocación profesional en estudiantes del primer ciclo
de la Universidad Nacional de la Amazonía Peruana de la Ciudad de Iquitos
durante el año 2017. Material y métodos Se aplicó una encuesta a una muestra de
150 participantes. El estudio fue descriptivo-relacional, de diseño no experimental.
Se aplicó el test chi cuadrado. Resultados: Se encontró un valor x2=20.782; =
0.00<0,05. Conclusiones: El dominio de áreas curriculares se relaciona con la

To determine the relationship between mastery of curricular areas in secondary education and professional vocation in the students of the first cycle of the Universidad Nacional de la Amazonía Peruana-2017. Material and Methods applied a structured questionnaire to simple of 150 participants. The study was descriptive-relational, non-experimental design. Applied the chi square. Results: We found that between mastery of curricular areas in secondary education and professional vocation x2 = 20.782; = 0.00 p <0.05.
